ETR Data Drop

A Season of Thanks and a Future Full of Potential

The holiday season has officially kicked off, with year-end just around the corner. As I enter my second holiday season back at ETR—and my first full year as CEO—I wanted to take a moment to reflect and express gratitude to all those who helped us accomplish so much during a truly unpredictable year. While I’m proud of what we delivered in 2025 and excited about where we’re headed in 2026, none of it would have been possible without great people.

  • To our IT decision-maker community: Once small like ETR, you are now large and mighty—nearly 10,000 strong. I am deeply thankful for your generosity in lending us and your peers both time and truth. Your willingness to share what’s working (and what isn’t) is the foundation of everything we do. Because of you, ETR can separate signal from noise and help the industry move faster with confidence.

Additionally, in a short time since launch, nearly 1,000 of you have joined ETR’s community forum to access the latest research, ask questions, compare notes, and help peers make better choices. That generosity—answering one another’s tough, tactical questions—is what turns data into decisions.

  • To our customers, new and long-standing: I’ve had the good fortune of helping build and shape ETR’s suite of products and research since the very beginning in 2012, working alongside many of you. Your passion, critical feedback, ideas, and work ethic energize and motivate me—and our team—every day to be better and deliver a growing suite of industry-leading solutions. Thank you for trusting us for 14 years and counting.

We are also thrilled to deliver the platform you asked for, launching just after the New Year. Your feedback while test-driving the new experience in recent months has been instrumental in helping us deliver a cleaner, faster platform that brings more of ETR’s 15+ years of longitudinal data, qualitative insights, analytics, and AI-powered workflows directly to you.

  • And last, but certainly not least, to my colleagues: From our firm-wide kickoff in San Diego in January to our virtual white-elephant happy hour in December, I’ve most appreciated the time we’ve spent together. Your grit, teamwork, and accountability bring out the best in ETR and keep me going. Your focus helped evolve ETR’s offerings throughout the year, culminating in the best quarter in ETR’s history and setting the stage for an even brighter 2026.

From an idea and a single spreadsheet in 2012 to a robust and growing product portfolio—and now a new platform launch around the corner—wrapping up our 15th anniversary has left me more thankful, and more confident, that the best is yet to come.

Warmly,
Bradley M. LaScolea
