As we start 2025, marking Enterprise Technology Research (ETR)’s 15th anniversary, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our customers, partners, and friends. Your unwavering support over the years has been instrumental in our growth and success.
ETR has come a long way since I initially joined in June of 2012. Back then, we were a small organization with virtually no customers, research, or analytics teams, and just a single spreadsheet of data covering two years of time series. Fast forward to today, rejoining ETR as CEO in July has been a privilege. I am now part of a talented and passionate team that oversees 15 years of proprietary, standardized survey data sourced from a thriving community of nearly 10,000 technology leaders. This positions us uniquely to leverage emerging technologies like AI to deliver unparalleled value to our enterprise and financial services customers.
Driving Innovation with AI
In recent months, we’ve dedicated ourselves to optimizing our product portfolio and preparing for the launch of a new ETR platform in the first half of 2025, which will leverage AI. Alongside these efforts, we’ve introduced groundbreaking solutions like ETR’s AI Product Series—a first-of-its-kind initiative.
The AI Product Series features three semi-annual surveys centered on unique themes, capturing in-depth product-level KPIs for enterprise-facing AI products. This data is critical for identifying the use cases and solutions delivering real ROI, ultimately spotlighting which SaaS companies are emerging as AI leaders. Enterprises can utilize this data to make smarter, faster decisions that drive revenue, while asset managers can leverage it for data-driven investment strategies.
Strengthening Partnerships and Validating Data
We’re also thrilled to announce our partnership with Maiden Century, a third-party alpha-producing alt-data solution. This collaboration validates the robust signal embedded in ETR’s 15 years of technology spending intent data, spanning over 175 tickers. Together, we’re empowering our clients to separate meaningful insights from the noise.
